Christmas is almost here! 🎄🎅🏻And let’s be real, the greatest part of the festive season is the FOOD, and when it comes to holiday cooking gingerbread is a classic. With just the right amount of spice and sweetness these will be a sure hit this Xmas! Or really, anytime you just want to make gingerbread because it’s so damn tasty.
I recently bought a bunch of love heart cookie cutters so gave them a whirl and they turned out great but you can definitely use a gingerbread man cutter if you’d prefer to keep it traditional! Wrapped up with some ribbon these would make the sweetest Christmas gift, who doesn’t love food as a gift?

♡ 2 1/2 cups plain flour
♡ 1 tbsp ground ginger
♡ 1 tsp cinnamon
♡ 3/4 cup brown sugar
♡ 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
♡ 3/4 cup melted vegan margarine
♡ 1/4 cup golden syrup
1 Line large tray with baking paper.
2 Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and knead until forms a dough.
3 Lightly flour a surface and roll dough mixture out evenly. Use cookie cutter to get desired shapes.
4 Place the cut cookies onto the baking tray and bake for 15 minutes or until browned lightly.
5 Allow to cool and enjoy!
